Real Ale in the Dengie Hundred
The Dengie Hundred is full of historic pubs where drinking a pint of real ale feels the right thing to do.
Maldon and Dengie Camra are
a branch of the national organisation who are very active in
promoting real ale, micro breweries and community pubs in the
area.
As well as sampling the ale
they promote events, give awards and provide an annual free
guide to many local pubs that sell real ale.
Wibblers of
Southminster is the local microbrewery who brew in the Dengie
Hundred but Crouch Valley, Farmers Ales and Might Oak are all
microbreweries based nearby whose ales are widely available in
this area.
Maldon and Dengie CAMRA have
their own website which you can visit by clicking
