The Dengie Hundred is a paradise for walkers as it is comparatively flat with varied countryside full of interest plus amazing stretched of River and Sea coast
The number one walk is the area for serious walkers is the River/Sea wall that allows a continuous vehicle free footpaths for the entire Dengie Hundred peninsula from Mayland to North Fambridge. Several of the walks below uses stretches of this sea/river wall.
